Hope for the Holidays is a heartfelt Christmas outreach created to bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to those who may find this season difficult. We know that Christmas, while often joyful, can also stir deep emotions—especially for those walking through grief, loneliness, financial strain, or the absence of loved ones.
Our program warmly welcomes individuals who may not have the chance to celebrate Christmas with loved ones, as well as those with unique or exceptional needs. The serene beauty of Hope Valley, paired with thoughtful holiday experiences, creates meaningful moments for each guest. We offer cherished traditions such as cookie and ornament decorating, a hot cocoa bar with treats, and other family-friendly activities, all while supporting the emotional well-being of our guests.
As a special part of Hope for the Holidays, we also offer a gentle lantern ceremony to honor the memory of loved ones who have passed. This quiet moment invites guests to write a name, prayer, or intention on a lantern before releasing it into the soft glow of our pond at night. It’s a meaningful way to acknowledge love that continues, grief that still needs a place to rest, and hope that rises even in seasons of loss. Many find that this simple act brings a sense of peace, connection, and healing as we move into the holidays together.
